You can check the correctness of rent calculations with the person who calculates utility bills, i.e. in your management company. In certain situations, you should write a statement of clarification.
These include:
- incorrectly issued invoice;
- gross errors in the receipt;
- questions regarding the amount of the accrued amount.
The request must be made in writing and registered when presented personally to an employee of the Criminal Code or by notification if sent by mail. In the future, if necessary, this will serve as official evidence.
According to the law, the management company is obliged to respond, indicating the calculation procedure and references to articles of the law. If a response is not received, you should contact the State Supervision Inspectorate.
Rent Center
The basis of all operations with housing and utility bills is management from the utility payment center. These are various organizations (each city has its own) that calculate amounts and bills for the use of utility services to residents. All this happens on the basis of data provided by enterprises that deliver light, heat, water, etc. to homes, HOAs or management companies.
Main activities of city utility billing centers:
